Drop? Redo? What? ;A; - I know I said I will exert more effort on the next pages but these 2 pages were nothing but awful looking pages especially the page prior to this one.

So... about the hiatus, for the past few days I've been thinking about dropping this comic (prolly because I'm slowly losing interest)

But the plot is already done, I just find it hard to draw pages recently to continue on with the story...
So that's why the previous page looks bad because I really forced myself to draw it OTL
I really wanna share this story and my other stories with fellow BL-fans, but there are just some issues in my personal life that affect my mood and motivation.

I've thought of redoing the entire comic too, but redoing it means starting from the very start and I'll be re-telling the whole story differently. (I really don't like the way I started this comic I was still so new and ignorant then but now I think I've learned a bit from experience and your comments too)

But since my school has started and it's going to be my last term--meaning I'll be graduating in about 3-4 months (I also have to look for a company where I can do my internship) life has become busier for me so if I'll redo this comic expect it to be something like a sketch-comic instead. And if ever that will happen, expect my characters to be different too---since I will try my best to apply their initial personality designs when I first started writing Oremono. Like... you won't see Sensei's soft side as early as you did with this version >.<
(It will be a sketch comic and the updates won't be fast though)
I really feel anxious right now ;A; Because I really wanna finish this but I don't feel like drawing any pages for this story at all...and... the thought of redoing the entire comic keeps on bothering me.
(So many things that I think about too much. Haha)

So... I thought... for now, I'll go on an indefinite hiatus while I think about this and deal with some of my personal troubles.

I'd appreciate your opinions regarding this and maybe you can help me make up my mind too. So this hiatus is a break for me to think whether to drop this comic, or redo it from the start or just continue with it when my motivation comes back.

I'm really thankful to all of you who continued reading and supporting me and my comic. Without you I've already given up way way earlier.

I posted a written/text version of what will happen next HERE. For the mean time I thought maybe I'd type what happened next instead...
If you would like to read it please feel free to do so, basically what I have there is equivalent to about 5 pages of the comic... Though I'm not really good with writing stories, I hope it's not that bad ;A

Sorry for the long post. Thank you for the lovely comments on the previous page too. See you again some time soon :)

I'm not sure what to say on this matter since I don't really like influencing other people's judgements. OTL
However, whatever you choose to do, I'll still support you all the way. ;u; <3333

Hmmm, I don't know what you mean because I loved the way this comic started XD

I know its hard to make choices, it took me alot of thought if I were to remake Yayoi, but in the end I just ignored it because I wanted to draw the story rather than just make the pages prettier.

Its alright, you can take your time, your fans will always be here waiting patiently. We wont rush you :)

Personally, I love this comic the way it is, even if the pages are sketchy, I still love it anyways! I was so happy when I saw that this comic updated XD
I really love your story and your characters.

Good luck making a decision! Your fans are always here for you :D

I think the best advice I can give is, don't force yourself to draw pages. This has to come naturally to you and you should only draw pages if you have the desire to, or else they will come out rushed and you won't like the result and it's also an easy way to lose interest. So take your time, sometimes a break is what you need to get you motivated again. I know sometimes it's hard to keep the readers waiting so you try to force yourself to draw again, I don't mean to sound mean but don't do it, because you're once again gonna be drawing for others and not because you rally want to.
I understand what you're going through, most comic artist go through it as well, especially when it's the first comic, you just wanna get to drawing it and don't really plan out your story through and midway into the comic you start to regret some choices you made and it seems so difficult to continue and also to start over.
But well, right now you seem to have some more important matters to take care of in real life, maybe try focusing more on that. Maybe you'll find that spending some time reworking your comic on the side can be a good relief from real life stress maybe from school and stuff.
Anyways I'm just rambling, but yeah, just don't think about it too hard and get yourself stressed over it. No one's gonna die if you don't find a solution to this, your fans are loyal enough to wait things out C:
So best of luck, and don't forget that first of all you draw this comic for yourself and for the fun of it, not because you're obligated to please anyone else <3

Well, it really is your choice on what you want to do, but like everyone has already said, your fans will back you up all the way.
A hiatus is very understandable, and you can take all the time you need for it. Don't stress yourself over a comic. We can wait.
I, myself, would like you to continue with this one, even if you can only post one page every two months. ;o; I love this comic and I don't want to see it leave.
Redoing it sounds like an okay choice, but I'm just wondering how sketchy would the sketches be? owo
And I like the story the way it is already. But like I said, it's really your choice, and we'll all support your decision. c8

As someone who likes your art and storytelling, I really want to selfishly tell you to just continue the comic from here - rough pages, sketchy pages, whatever is fine! But then I stop to think and realize that it'd probably be best for you to come to a conclusion by yourself. If I were you, I'd do what made me the happiest.

Well, clean art or not, I'll be following this comic devotedly <3 So let me selfishly request of you to please not drop it! Anything but that... this was one of the first good comics I found here on smackjeeves and I already love it so much! ;^;

And actually, I don't know why you're dissatisfied with the start, because that's what got me hooked on this in the first place.

Anyway, good luck with making a decision and with everything going on irl! ;w; *encourage encourage*

Sounds like you just need to take break from it for a few months.Put the comic to the side and every once and a while try drawing a page and see how it goes, but definitely take some time away from it.If fans leave cus the artist needed a break they weren't real fans.

Well, I actually thought your story-telling ability and stuff was really good from the beginning~ And well, I know I don't want you to stop doing this comic~ Even if it means a Hiatus~ Tho I have no patience to see the comic re-drawn as I want it to continue XD Lalala
I do not mind sketchy stuff tho~ If it goes on...
But, if you don't want to do this comic, you shouldn't force yourself O:
you should just draw what you enjoy <3

Yeah, it sounds like you just need some time off. I know it's really hard to come back to something after you haven't worked on it for a while, but I think what you need to do is write down ALL of your ideas in a notebook for yourself, close it, put it away, and then just don't think about the comic for a while. Then, one day, when you're itching to draw, look at the notebook and see if you feel anything for the comic again.

Otherwise, if you really want to re-draw it, but you don't want to leave us without updates, there's something another webcomic artist did once that I liked. Every week they would re-do an old page or two, and post one new page to continue the story, since they didn't mind how their new art/storytelling was. It's just a suggestion.

But, really, I know life gets in the way. It's totally ruined my drive to write, which sucks because I'm a creative writing major. But if you need time off, take it. We'll love you all the same when you come back, whether it's with this comic or a new one.

A hiatus is good if you need a break, and it honestly does sound like you need a little away time from the comic. Mmhmm. Everybody needs a break every once and a while, right?

I do hope you finish the comic to the end and like whats spoken above, your story-telling ability is awesome! But even if you do decide to redo everything, you know your fans will still be here. <3<3<3

*Cheers on*

take as much time as you need.
Life is tough, and sometimes you have to sort out priorities.
Good luck with sorting everything out~ <3

This is definitely one of my favorite comics that I read. I personally think you should continue with it, and just not worry about redrawing. I've heard from other artists that going back and starting over will only slow you down.

Still, before continuing with this, I'd definitely say concentrate on school and on finding that internship. Life is way more important than a comic, and we all understand that. After all, this comic is not going to pay the bills (unless you printed it?).

But I'd really hate to see you just stop it all together.

I started reading this comic when you first started it ^^ and I have enjoyed reading it since then.

I say you keep the comic on a hiatus and concentrate on your personal issues D: It'd probably be a pain to redo the whole comic all over again (that's my opinion at least).

Even if its sketchy pages, I'll still continue to read OreMono.

Don't drop the comic ;u; you have too many fans of it already.

(I apologize if my comment seems out of order when reading it D: I can never get my thoughts together to make some things make sense)

...I already told you that I have the inability to type long comments, right? xDDD And probably, pretty much what everyone's saying here are the ones I want to say ; v;

I don't pretty much understand how college works, since I'm still in my 3rd year higschool, but I know it's been pretty hard for you > v< Take your time! We'll all just be here waiting for you and the pages <3

And naaaaaaaw. It's okay with me if your pages are sketchy! > v< That can't change my love for you and this comic as well ; v;

You already concluded it pretty well, so if you really wanted to end it then I wouldn't see a problem with it. :3

It's your first ever comic too, so expect to regret it later. XD I'm sure when I do my first comic, I'll think it's awesome, but then as I improve I'll be like, "How did I think this was good?! DX" It's just what happens most of the time, heh.

I'm currently(as you probably know from DA) am on a hiatus too. But I think I can go off it soon. It's good to call it quits for a bit. It relaxes you and puts way less pressure on you.

And if you ever need me to work out plots and other stuff, you know my MSN. Or if it's easier, just PM me. :D

If you have to put it on Hitatus you do. But don't like not continue it. I mean you never know you might find inspiration one day! And if your pages are sketchy they are! I think I can speak for half of us that we don't care. So continue when you can...please? Maybe?

I have no idea if I've commented before but it really is a shame if I haven't since this really is of the best comics I'm reading right now from SmackJeeves. You're doing a wonderful job with this and I've really enjoyed everything so far.
I think you should really take a break and work things out then decide what to do. I really think you should just continue and finish this and maybe someday in the future re-do this or something if you feel like it. But if you decide to leave it like this after you've finished you can always look back and see how much you've improved. :)
But yeah taking a break usually helps and I really hope it helps you too. :)

This was really good and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Not that I wouldn't love to be able to read more of it, but if you don't have the motivation to continue it, you will not be hated for it. I respect your decision, whatever it is that you decide to do.
